Learning about Tracking, Kerning and Gutter Space in Text in CorelDraw at the best Graphic Design Training Institute in Delhi

Hi everyone, I am Gurjeet Sharma currently studying at ADMEC multimedia institute which is a graphic design training institute in Delhi located near by Rohini East Metro Station. CorelDraw is one of the software applications I learned in my course.

CorelDRAW is really a useful software application with many good tools and options to make designs. I liked it for various reasons like type options, flexible pen tools, photo editing options and file management for printing. Today, I’m explaining about the tracking, kerning, and Gutter Space options through this blog.

Tracking

Tracking is to increase the space between each letter of the selected word. It is used specially in logo.

Kerning

Kerning is for managing the space between a particular two letters.

Gutter space

Gutter space is the space between the columns of the pages and textbooks. It is one of the popular terms of graphic design and print media. Gutter space plays an important role in setting up the layout. It works as margin of the layout.

So, these three terms are one of the main terms to understand properly to become a graphic designer. I learned them all in my classes from experts.
